About coaching and consultingSpeaking of those services: I’ll be on vacation December 22-January 16. During this time, episodes will still come out, but I won’t be seeing clients or responding to emails. I also added a new type of consulting service I call simply a “priority phone call.” Sometimes people reach out to me desperate to pick my brain on a particular topic urgently and don’t want to go through the usual process of booking a discovery call, completing intake forms, scheduling and so forth. And coordinating schedules can be tricky. So I opened up some extra times I’m not usually working to take urgent phone calls for those who don’t mind paying a premium for evening or weekend availability or for the ability to cut to the chase. This isn’t for everyone, and it’s certainly not therapy, but it might be right for some occasions. Another community worth joining is Do No Harm They are a medical ethics organization working to eliminate the harm that so-called gender affirming care for minors and political ideologies in medicine are causing. Do No Harm is made up of thousands of members across the country, from doctors, to nurses, to policy makers, to concerned parents who see what’s happening at practitioners across the country and are waving a red flag. Membership is free, and you get unlimited access to information from experts, on-the-ground updates from people working in medicine or statehouses to take a stand, and collaboration with other thinkers. I’ll be preparing my thoughts for a New Years Day episode. One thing I can tell you now, though, is that you can expect to see returning guests from past episodes come back in new configurations in 2024! Join Locals to share your thoughts on who you most want to see return, and which prior guests you’d like to see conversing with one another in groups, and about what. I’ve posted a question for Locals subscribers soliciting this feedback; I want to hear your thoughts!
